Unhappy Refrigerator 55 deg; Freezer -6 deg
Brand: Other
Model Number: Sub-Zero
Age: More than 10 years

All I can see on the Model # on this oldie is "51...." Unit has been running just fine until recently. Willing to replace if necessary. It is a 30" bottom-freezer type. The refrigerator is 55 deg +/- while the freezer is solid "sub-zero". I will try to diassemble a bit as suggested in other threads. Anything specific I should know about aged Sub-Zero models? Thanks! Chris

Default

Check the fan in the freezer.

Also check for ice on the evaporator coils.

If there is ice on the coils there is a problem in the defrost circuit.

Sorry I am not familiar with the disassembly procedures of the Sub-Zero brand.
