hello, my refriderator/freezer is not getting cold.
the light is on and there seems to be a motor sound indicating that it works but the freezer will not freeze water and my butter is soft.
if I need in home service what would I expect repairs to cost?

Did this happen over a couple of days or was it over night?

Where is the motor sound coming from?

If it is the compressor that is running shut the fridge off.

It is hard to judge how much it may cost.

If it needs a new compressor they can range from 100.00 to 400.00 plus you would have the labor to install it.
