My water dispenser drips on my fridge. Its a side by side Kenmore ED22GW. I bought it in 1996. It always seemed like it took a while for the water to actually come out when it was pressed, but now it will not stop dripping. I had to turn the water off from the back so it will stop. But that stops the ice maker from making ice. I have no prob w/the ice maker.
I just moved the fridge from my old house to a new house we just bought. I dont know if the move could have caused this???
Anyway, I am clueless. Any help would be very much appreciated.

The water inlet valve on the back of unit opens when the dispenser calls for water. If the valve doesn't seal good because of sediment or wear or low water pressure it will continue to drip. You can take the tube off the valve and watch to see if it drips.
