I got a fridge from a guy that does not work. It seems that it does not have any power. When I plug it in nothing happens. I have turned the controls up and down and nothing. The lights dont even come on inside. I have changed the bulbs and still nothing. I have tested the power cord where it plugs into the plastic strip on the back of the unit and there is power there. No power at the compressor either. Is there fuses or a relay that could be bad?

Check in the control panel and see if the defrost timer is stuck in the defrost cycle.

Check and see if there is power at the light switch.
