Exclamation Putting in Ice maker / old vs.new
Brand: Amana
Model Number: ARS9169AS
Age: 1 - 4 years

I purchased a nice second hand Amana ARS9169AS, side by side with dispensing water ice and crushed ice. The icemaker was removed by the previous owner. I purchased a new icemaker online - "the correct replacement part D7824706Q for this model". The problem is the wire harness on the new ice maker is different from the END OF THE WIRE HANGING IN THE FREEZER?? If you take a look at the diagram here on this web sit for this model it is unclear where the icemaker plugs into the freezer.

I was also told I would have to use the old shut off arm??? I don’t have that!

Is there something I am missing here!!!

Please help!!!!!!!!!

I want ice :-)
