Default Put new pump on ice maker will not shut off
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: wr57x10033
Age: Less than 1 year
I just purchaced and replaced the pump for the ice maker. It will not shut off now. You cut the water on and it continues to flow water into the ice maker even after it is full. Tried turning the adjustment screw and that did not help. What is the problem? Please help!!

The water inlet valve on the back of unit opens when the ice maker needs water. It could be stuck open. See how to check the water inlet valve here---Refrigerator Repair Guide: How to Check the Water Inlet Valve - ACME HOW TO.com
