Default Not able to dispense ice or water
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: MFI2568AEQ
Age: 1 - 4 years

I have the maytag french door, freezer on the bottom model with water and ice on the door. The fridge makes ice but does not dispense it or water. It stopped working then the display lights on the front started flashing and the ice dispenser door started opening and closing over and over. I got the front plate off and got to the circuit board on the back of the display. I replaced that which is the low voltage circuit board. Still not working. I dont think it is the keypad do you? Would this stuff run through the high voltage circuit board on the back of the fridge? Since they both stopped working at the same time and the display is flashing along with the ice door opening and slapping closed I figured its electronic problem. Any suggestions?

Now today I woke up and the temp display is flashing back in forth from 38 to 52 and so the temp alarm is beeping. It still feels cool in the fridge so I unplugged the display panel all together. I am really leaning towards the high voltage circuit board. What do you think?

The board in the back would supply power to the low voltage board but should not affect the operation of the board.

I think in your case you should have a Maytag repair person have a look at it.
