Default Noisy Refrigerator
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: MM040977
Age: Less than 1 year

New refrigerator (delivered yesterday) noisy. Has ice maker, not connected and is in off position. Sounds like noise from power transformer (whirring ?) Can be heard from other rooms in the house and especially, is extremely annoying to be in kitchen with. I have not put anything in the refrigerator yet. The refrigerator has been on for 16 hrs now

Check to see if the condenser fan underneath the fridge is hitting something like a wire or shielding and if so just move it slightly out of the way. The fan blade could also be bent out of position. Also check the evaporator in the freezer for same thing.
Any more than that I would have the warranty cover it.
