Default Noisy fan motor in bottom freezer
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 795.77563600
Age: 1 - 4 years

I have a Kenmore Elite Trio bottom freezer french door refrigerator. The blower that runs in the upper left hand part of the freezer compartment makes a rumbling noise. The noise seems to go away if the freezer is empty, but will start back if with around a half loaded freezer compartment. I have been unable to get any website to recognize the above part number, but I have been able to find several complaints posted on the web about this model refrigerator. Any help would be appreciated. I prefer NOT to have to deal with Sears for this repair, but it may be unavoidable.

See if you can tell if it's the motor or the blades making the noise. Could be the housing around it vibrating. Does this motor look like yours. Part Detail

I have not had the back cover off yet to view the fan. Maybe I can figure out how to remove the cover so that I can view the fan.
