Default No water, No ICE, No light on Door
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FRS20ZRGW0
Age: 5 - 10 years

I am having problems. This Fridge was in my parents garage. They had been using it , no water hookup. They gave it too me and the first thing I wanted was ICE and water in the door. I hooked up the water line and got nothing. I press the dispenser button for water or ice and get nothing. The Ice maker doesnt make ice either. The one thing I have noticed is that I cannot turn on the light on but the water ice dispenser door either. I replaced the bulb and nothing. I Used a voltmeter and found no power to the light bulb socket even with I throw the switch. Is there a PCB / circuit board that might of went out ? The fridge and freezer both get cold .. Just no Ice/water or door light. Any help would be great!

The schematic for the fridge should be in a envelope behind the kick plate.

Check the wire connection on the door and see if there is power there.

There is no circuit board in this fridge that controls the operation of the dispenser.

Here is a link to your fridge model FRS20ZRGW0.

found a Wiring and Ladder Diagram.
I have checked all the relay switches in the dispenser unit
(the activator switch /water/crushed/cubed/ with a ohm meter) They appear to work. But I cannot get any voltage measurements on any of the relays. This makes me think the problem is the incoming line If I am reading this Ladder Diagram correctly it appears there is a safety switch. I believe this is located at the top left /inside of the freezer door. When I check for voltage there I get nothing checked the safety switch with a ohm meter looks okay when I press the button.

Two Questions:

1. What should the voltage be at the saftey switch?

2. Does the power to the safety switch come from the cold control or the icemaker ?
