No water to icemaker Brand: General Electric Model Number: TFXPDBABB Age: 5 - 10 years GE TFX28PBDABB No water is getting to the icemaker. Water dispenses fine from door. Solenoid to icemaker is working fine (connected power from door dispenser solenoid to the icemaker solenoid, pushed for water from door and water came out of the pipe that feeds directly into the icemaker tray, icemaker solenoid is new so didn't really think that is the problem anyways) and there are no ice ups or clogs in the line. If water is poured into icemaker, it will freeze the ice and eject it but will not refill the tray. I'm assuming that power is not getting to the icemaker solenoid (water valve) so does this mean that the icemaker itself needs to be replaced? Is there a way to verify this? I read on another thread about a Whirpool unit that you could jumper connections T and H (whatever those are) on the icemaker and that would tell if the icemaker was good or not because it would engage the solenoid to fill the tray, if it didn't engage the solenoid then the icemaker unit was bad. I don't know if there is an equivalent test on my model. I don't want to replace the icemaker just to find out there's some problem between the icemaker and the icemaker water valve. I don't know what's between the icemaker unit and the valve. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sorry about the long post but I figured the more info the better.
