Try to get the cycle started by pouring water into ice tray and see if it freezes, dumps and refills.

Ok well now we have had to replace the dual water valve. after install we turned on the water and the pluggged in the frig water came out excessesively over filling the trays. we put a pan under it and it eventually stopped after cycling through and made ice dumped out, but it did not refill. any ideas? this thing is driving me crazy!!!

Question

Also replaced ice maker, control board and water valve.
Water ran out of the ice maker all over the floor when first turned it on.
Turned off water. Unplugged unit. Turned water back on and plugged back in.
Water ran out again. Turned back off, waited a while, turned on again. No water to ice maker again. Tried manually filling, no refill. Water dispenser has worked all through.
Whats up?
