Do you also have a water dispenser and does it work? Check your water inlet valve.

I do not have a water dispenser. However, I removed the ice maker and found that the inlet tube was frozen and was blocking the water inlet. Once I thawed it (with a hair dryer from the rear), it is working fine. I have no idea why it suddenly froze after ten years. It may have gotten too much ice buildup next to the inlet. Thanks for help

Default Determine Ice maker problem

I have no Ice in the ice maker and it is not making ice. How do I determine if is a problem with the ice maker or the Inlet valve. I do get water from the front door.

MILTONC , When the water inlet valve keeps dripping after filling the ice mold, the water in the tube will slowly freeze and eventually block the tube. You can disconnect the ice maker line at the inlet valve and watch to see if it completely seals off or continues a slow leak. David King check you water inlet valve first at above link.

Default frozen inlet tube

Woodchuck, thank's for the tip. If I should have the problem again, that is the first thing I will check.
