we have a refrigerator/freezer with water & ice to the door. We are getting water to the door, but not to the ice maker. Would this problem be caused by the dual inlet valve or should there be other components we should be checking. thanks

It could be the valve or it could be the temperature in the freezer or it could be the ice maker is faulty.

The temperature in the freezer must 5 degrees or lower.

You can check the valve with an ohm meter.

You should get the same reading on both solenoids.
