If your fridge is less than one year old it is still in warranty and should be looked at by a technician.

Default no water or ice from door dispenser

I had the same problem on my maytag (Frigidere sp?). It turned out that the main board behind the panel went bad.

There are 2 boards - one right behind the touch screen panel (this is the touch screen panel board). To get to the main board I had to remove this board and the next layer of the frig water dispenser panel. I disconnected the power cable to the board and removed the board. Once the main board was replace and the power to the frig was turned on -the water and ice dispenser worked fine.

To get the correct board I had to download images of this section of the frid to get the part number. I then found a local parts supplier who had the part. I also talked with them and they told me a lot of good info - like what parts are most likely the problem because they know what parts the service techs come in all the time to purchase. They even printed me out a schematic diagram of the whole assembly.

The cost of the board ~ $120. The time ~ 1 hour. The tools - a set of allen wrenches, a flashlight and possibly a phillips screwdriver.

MAKE SURE THE POWER PLUG OF THE FRIG IS PULLED OUT FROM THE WALL SOCKET PRIOR TO STARTING THIS PROCEDURE.
