Question No Water from disp, Ice ok
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: gsh25kgrebb
Age: 1 - 4 years

Ok, I checked out the water valve and it ohm'd ok. I disconnect the water line under the doors, (so it has already gone thru the chiller behind the crisper door) push the button and get water. So..... the switch is working, the water valve is working and the line isnt frozen in chiller. Is it possible for the line to freeze inside freezer door section? If so how do I access it to defrost? And any idea as to why all of a sudden this would happen? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jim

It will be hard to defrost if it is somewhere in the door other than in the dispenser area.

The door is what is called foamed in place, so you can't take it apart.

I would guess that it is frozen in the dispenser area.

Try using a hair dryer on low heat setting so you don't melt the housing.

Here is a link to your fridge model gsh25kgrebb.
