I have a Maytag Plus Side by Side Fridge with Ice and Water on the door. The other night the ice and water stopped working and now the outside light will not shut off. I can change the selection on the outside panel but nothing comes out(crushed ice, cubes, water). I took apart the assembly and see there are 2 circuit board on the inside. I assume it is one of them causing the problem. Anyone know for sure?

It could be either the touch pad or the control board

Check the connection to the touch pad.

There should be a technician sheet in be hind the kick plate.

This is most likely a wet microswitch behind the rubber boot that the glass is pressed against. If it stays shorted for long enough then the lead-in diode that accepts the switch on the control board may also fail. Pull the switch and check it with an ohmeter. It is normally open. To prevent a repeat after replacing the switch, re-seal the boot with some silicon glue.
