Default No Ice....Water flow OK
Brand: Please select
Model Number: PS123NG/NS
Age: Less than 1 year

My ice maker just stopped making ice....no water flows into the maker. If I pour water into it, it makes and dumps ice into the dispensor. The water flow through the door seems a little slower than normal.

When I pull the filter no water comes out, but maybe there is a shut-off to facilitate filter changes....is this correct? I filter water 2X before water reaches the fridge, so can't believe the filter is in need of replacement. What to do?

Take a look in the freezer, where the water comes into the icemaker, and see if the tube is frozen. That could be your problem. Sometimes, when there is not enough water pressure, the line could freeze up. Get a blow dryer, and defrost it, if that is the problem. The model # you gave is not a good #, if this is not the problem, I would need a good model #. Get it off the tag.
