Default No Ice to door
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: TFX22ZRXDAA
Age: 5 - 10 years

My ice maker quit making ice and when I press the ice to door button the auger does not turn. The moter humms real loud. Sounds like it is stalled. The ice auger turns freely. Water will dispense to door. I opened the door, removed the tray and the ice maker had no water in it. I lifted the arm and lowered it and then it raised on its own and filled with water.

The auger turns freely by hand? Take the ice bin out and see if the auger drive turns or tries to turn. Try turning it with your hand. The motor is behind the back panel. I didn't see the motor on your parts diagram. GE TFX22ZRXDAA Parts List

The auger motor needs to come out to be replaced or tested.
