I recently purchased an ice maker for my GE refrigerator. The ice maker is a model PS2 as required for this refrigerator. I installed everything as per the instructions, but I don't get any water to the ice maker in the freezer. It seems to me like the solanoid for the water is not opening to let water through. I'm not sure the best way to check, please help. The green light on the ice maker is on, so I feel sure the power is correctly working.

You may have to get the cycle started by manually putting water in the tray and let it freeze,dump and then see if it fill with water.

If you also have a water dispenser you can swap the water lines and see if the water dispenser will fill the ice maker. Or swap the wire plugs on the valve and see if the ice maker side will send water to water dispenser.
