Default Need help with water line placement
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 106.59512991
Age: 5 - 10 years

I had the solenoid go out of the fridge and I wasn't getting water to the ice maker. I was getting water to the water despenser though. I bought the whole new solenoid but in the process I had to take my old solenoid off to show the guy who was ordering it for me ( after 2 failed attempts previous)
I was in a hurry when I took it off and didn't mark which line went where on the solenoid. SO, now I'm not sure which line hooks to where on the solenoid.
Is there a drawing ( schematic) of the lines and their placement on the solenoid???

Just hook it up without the water line and catch the water while someone pushes the switch for the water dispenser and see which side it comes out of. Then hook the lines up and push the switch and if the water comes out the ice maker swap them. usually when facing the back the ice maker line is on the right.

Thanks woodchuck, But mine has 4 lines
One is obviously is the water inlet line. the second one goes to the ice maker, I found this one they way you suggested.
I then have 2 other lines that are white in color ( not clear) that come off the bottom of the solenoid. Not really sure what these two lines go to .
Also, my old solenoid had the compression type plastc fitting that just screwed onto the solenoid. The new one is the kind where you just push the line into the solenoid. Well, needless to say I now can't get them back out. any suggestions on that?
