Default Need Help adjusting ice maker
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: ED22DQ
Age: 5 - 10 years

My ice maker dont eject the ice everytime, sometime it stall the eject motor. looks like it is over filling, as the cubes or very big. Is there an adjustment on this model to set the cube size? Any help appreciated

Sounds like you have a bad mold heater or thermostat. If a modular type you must remove front cover and the adjustment screw is on the right side, tiny plastic screw.

Thanks for the quick response!. It is the modular type. I think i have found the plastic screw you are referring too. for smaller kubes does it turn clockwise or counter clockwise? Guess i can experiment, Ha. What are the two plastic screws on the front where the test point are located for? Thanks in advance. If its a bad component i will order from forum sponser (partsSelect) for sure.
