Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: ed0gtkxmq00
Age: 1 - 4 years

Hi guys

My side by side refrigerator was OK.Is only 3 years old but stoped cooling.
It only cools in the bottton of the freezer so I open the panel and I saw a lot
frost built up.Iturned the defrost timer to the defrost mode and the frost melted right away.So i was told thas was the problem and I replaced it.Same thing happened so I replaced the defrost thermostat .

I saw the eveporator fan is no working???
Who controls the evaporator fan???
It's that the problem?? help me please!!!

Ispend some money but do I have to keep going buying parts ??

You might have broken a wire to the fan motor. Check for voltage to the fan, may have to push in the door switch. If voltage, then replace the fan motor.
