OK, the freezer keeps icing up and then the fridge side gets room temp. Sound like defrost problems, thermostat problems or maybe both???

In the fridge section behind the light shield you will find the defrost timer.
With the compressor running turn the knob with screwdriver until the compressor shuts off.
The fridge will now be in the defrost cycle.
The defrost cycle last about 20 minutes.
If the fridge does not start up in 20 minutes and the freezer is defrosted you will need a new timer.
