Default Moved the refrigerator sideways
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: TBX18HACGRWW
Age: 5 - 10 years

Yesterday I moved my refrigerator on it's side (not upright) in a pickup truck. I started it right away. The freezer seems to be working. The refrigerator section seems not as cold, but it seems working.

Since last night, I am noticing randomly a noise from the right side top "grrrrrr" as if some metal parts are having trouble moving or touching each other. Also there is water collecting on the top part of the refrigerator section.

Any ideas on how much I might have ruined the refrigerator.

Thanks,
--Shashi

Unplug the fridge and let it set for at least 12 to 24 hours.

It is possible that the oil has blocked the tube.

The water is likely condensation.

After 24 hours try the fridge again.
