I Have Water Dripping From The Water Outlet In The Door. I Changed The Valves Thinking The Valve Was Not Shutting Off Completely But It Is Still Dripping Water. WHEN YOU RELEASE THE HANDLE YOU CAN HEAR THE SWITCH CLICK OFF BUT THERE IS SLOW DRIPPING. i PULLED THE DOOR APART BUT THERE IS NOTHING BUT A MICRO SWITCH THAT OPERATES THE VALVE. THE VALVE IS NEW. IF YOU LAY THE FILTER DOWN WATER WILL COME OUT THE HOUSING IS NEW AND NEW GASKET IS THERE A PROBLEM THERE? Now the water ran without pushing the water lever, it only ran a short time I think it ran when the water for the ice maker was filling but I am not sure. I am waiting to see if the water flows again. Now the light in the door now does not work I have change the bulb.

I can't say for sure but it is acting like the control board in the freezer door is causing the problem.

The only other thing that comes to mind is the water pressure at the valve.

If you don't have at least 20 psi at the fridge the valve will not close properly.

But in this case you would likely have trouble with the ice maker too.

Yes it could be the board but it could be a bad light holder.
