Default Maytag - Leaking at the bottom right
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: MTB2154ARW

Hello,

This a freezer on top refrigerator. Everyday, the bottom right hand side, under the vegetables/fresh fruit drawer is feeling up with water and then leaks out of the fridge. I checked the drain tube and the drain pan behind the fridge and everything looks OK.

The fridge is also feeling up with moisture on the stored items, shelves and walls, both in the freezer and the refrigerator sections.

I'm unable to find the other end of the drain channel/tube (inside the fridge?) to see whether it is clogged. Any help in locating the other end of the drain tube would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Joe

Pull the back freezer panel off, and if the bottom tray comes out, pull that out also.
Thaw out all the ice and apply hot water directly to the drain hole. I use a turkey baster for this. If you have a piece of heavy copper or alluminum wire, wrap one end arount defrost heater and push the other end down the drain. That should fix your drain problem.
