Hi,
As of a couple of days ago, our Maytag refrigerator tripped our earth leakage breaker , and each time I reset it, when the compressor starts up it trips again.?
So it looks as though the compressor has a electrical fault internally. If I buy a new compressor, is this a specialist job to replace ? Is it possible to repair a compressor

Can any give me an answer to
Is it realistic to repair a compressor ?
If I buy a new compressor, is this a specialist job to replace ? If so would any competent cooling engineer be able to do this ?
