Cold Spot side by side makes Ice but the dispensor does not activate. No sound no ice,. I do have water in the front door and ice in the container. Lots of company coming for the holidays, your assistance is much appreciated.

Check the valve at the back of the fridge.

One of the coils on the valve is for the water dispenser and the other is for the ice maker.

Make sure that the icemaker was not accidentally shut off.
