Question Lost
Brand: Amana
Model Number: srd25s5l
Age: 5 - 10 years

My water line froze and I lost temperature in both the freezer and refrigerator. I have replaced the defrost control board and thermostat. It still freezes over and shuts the water off. It is not making ice and the refrigerator side is not cold.

All that's left is the defrost heater. Have you checked that. Refrigerator Repair Guide: How To Test the Defrost Heater - ACME HOW TO.com
