Unhappy Lights On Side By Side Kenmore Elite Refrigerator Not Working
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 106.54609300
Age: 5 - 10 years

On my Kenmore Elite Side-By-Side the lights on the refrigerator side recently stopped working. A couple of days ago one of the lights on the bottom half was broken and the top light went out shortly afterwards. Both bulbs have been replaced but neither light will come on any more. The lights on the freezer side work just fine. The refrigerator still gets cold as usual, just dark now. Any suggestions would be extremely helpful. I'm a pretty savy computer technician, but this damn refrigerator is giving me the blues!

Question Checking The Light Switch

Sheila,

I push in the little white switch in the top right corner of the unit and it turns off the lights on the control panel when depressed, but none of the interior refrigerator lights are coming on. Would replacing the switch help in my situation? Is there some sort of fuse for the interior lights? Thanks in advance for your assistance!

Rod

It sounds like the switch is working.

Your going to have to trace the wiring for the light.
