Frig. leaked water on floor under unit.
Found lots of ice on freezer back wall behind ice maker and down on drawer slides.
Pulled out ice maker. Found fill tube to ice maker was solid ice.
Melted all ice with hair dryer. (Looked up tube to check)
No obvious water drips when ice maker in off position for several hours.
Turned ice make on. It cranked out about 3 cubes each cycle. (Filter over 4 years old??) By next morning the ice built up again.

Could this be the water valve is leaking causing the ice build up in the tube?
If I have to change the valve is it done from the rear?

Do I have to pull the frig out from the wall to access?

Yes and follow the incoming water line to the valve. Disconnect the one to the ice maker and watch it to see if it's slowly dripping. You may can clean it out if it is not sealing good.
