I have an icemaker in a kitchenaid refrigerator/freezer that has stopped working. Water does not enter the "tray". I've manually added water to the "tray" hoping this might "kick-start' the system, but this didn't work. The water froze, but it has not been ejected into the bin.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Make sure that the freezer is o to 5 degrees Fahrenheit.

If the freezer temperature is good you will have to run a test on the ice maker circuit.

Locate the technician sheet in an envelope under the fridge behind the kick plate.

This will tell you what to do and what to replace.
