Default KitchenAid icemaker not working
Brand: KitchenAid
Model Number: KSRG27FKBL04
Age: 1 - 4 years

Icemaker is not working. No water in tray, water dispenser working, icemaker will not cycle, appears no power to icemaker. On/off switch light on. Ice dispenser motor working.

This could be your water valve at the back of the fridge.

You will need a meter to check the valve.

Took icemaker out and checked motor. Motor works, everthing seemed to check out. Put the icemaker back in and it cycled and filled. The icemaker will not cycle after it freezes. The mold heater is working and melts the ice. The ejector aways stops in the 6 oclock position.

It may be that there is a dead spot in the motor or teeth missing on the gear.

Here is a link on how to test the ice maker.

Do this test and see if the ejector stop in the 6 o'clock position again.
