i recieved a door gasket for my upright frezer and need instructions on how to install it. the part # is wpl 2188436a and the model # is above.

The easiest way to change the door gasket on the freezer is to take the door off and lay the door on a flat surface with the handle hanging of the edge.

Remove all the screws holding the gasket to the door.

If the new gasket is stiff soak it in warm water.

Place the door gasket on the door and install the metal retainers.

Install the eight corner screws first but do not over tighten.

Then install the rest of the screws.
