I believe the fill valve is damaged, but before spending money in a new one, I would like to know if there is a possibility that the problem resides on a signal not being send by the ice maker to the valve. I am not sure if the system valve works with sn imput from the ice maker module.

Try swapping the wires which plug into the solenoid at the inlet valve.

This way the water dispenser should send water to the ice maker and you'll know if the inlet valve works.


If the lines are the same size you can also swap them around to do this check.
