My Kenmore icemaker is not working. Arm is down, motor is humming, no water is filling the bin. The drinking water through the front door flows nicely. The line is not frozen. I disconnected the line in the back of the refrigerator and put the arm in the down position--no water flowed through the line. Any ideas? Does the solenoid that the ice maker uses the same valve as the drinking water in the front of the fridge? Thanks

There are two valves one is for the ice maker and one is for the water despencer.

Check the water valve with an ohm meter for continuity.
