Default Kenmore Ice Maker Leaking
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 106. 9557611
Age: More than 10 years

My Kenmore ice maker has a leak- water pours directly into the ice holder- freezes then then spiral wire doesnt turn to eject the ice. What few cubes are made are hollow. What needs replacing and how do I do that?

Default

Are you saying that after the water comes in and fills the ice tray and starts to freeze more water is coming in on top of the ice.

I am having the same problem. Kenmore 106 9552910, It is like the volume of water to fill the icemaker has increased, so now the reservoir is over-flowing at each fill. What controls the amount of water being dispensed? If I could turn it down the problem would be solved.
