Default Kenmore Ice Maker Leaked All Over Floor-Help Please
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 25377132791

Hello
I have a Kenmore model# 25377132791, which has an ice maker iside the freezer.

This morning, I awoke to water all over the floor an a "running water " noise. We shut off the cut off valve to the ice maker and the dripping ceased. Then my husband wanted to try to figure out where the water was coming from. I turned on the cut off valve slowly, and he yelled quickly to shut it off. He said that water seemed to be shooting out from the solenoid itself.

Is this possible, or could it be something else? Or should we replace hose?

The water is most definately coming from the bottom of the refridgerator where the solenoid is. Inside the refridgerator everything is normal.

One last note, the ice maker inside the freezer has a metal bar that lifts up to shut off. It was in the off position.

We are planning to pick up a solenoid after work today and have to travel distance to get it, if you feel that this may not be the issue please respond asap.
Thanks

It sounds like either the line or the valve.

Here is a link to the parts of your fridge model 25377132791.
