Default Kenmore fridge fan problem?
Brand: Kenmore
Age: 1 - 4 years

Hi-Just started hearing a buzzing sound at the bottom (have a freezer on the bottom model) - clicks on for about 15 seconds and off, then repeats about every 2 minutes. Like fan motor is turning on, but getting no action out of the fan? So far, fridge is staying cold.
Any advise would be appreciate.
Bonzala

Update - home from work today to find that freezer food was no longer frozen and fridge seems to be starting to warm up. Buzzing sound still going strong.
Anyway, it's a Kenmore model # 59672953200.

We have the same problem Model # 59652673202, replaced the capacitor, now the compressor over heating and fan not working. Kenmore, sears said there's nothing they can do, only have had frig for 3 years, I won't buy from them again.

Bonzala, can you determine if the buzzing is from the compressor under the unit or the evaporator fan in the freezer. If it's the compressor check relay, overload protector and compressor. If it's the fan in freezer check evaporator fan. Refrigerator Repair Guide: How To Fix a Refrigerator - ACME HOW TO.com

moneybags, which fan doesn't work. Condenser fan next to compressor under the unity or evaporator fan in freezer. Test them at above link.
