Kenmore Elite side by side ice dispenser wont work. It makes ice fine but the ice jams. My only guess is that the ice dispenser door dos not seal tight anymore. Any suggestions?

Where is the ice jamming?

Do you hear the auger turning to dispense the ice?

The unit is allowing the ice to melt slightly then refreeze, causing the ice to jam. If I dump the ice out then break it up it feeds threw fine. My only guess is that warm air is entering threw the ice exit door. I was thinking of ordering the parts associated with the ice dispenser door. I don't see any way to ensure a better seal. If you agree and you state what pieces I should order. Thanks

Check the door to the shoot there may be a broken bracket that holds the spring in place.

Check to make sure that the gasket on the freezer door is sealing in the top left corner.

ALSO make sure water isn't dripping into bin from ice maker freezing the ice together.
