Default Kenmore doesn't cool and freeze
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 106.53332300
Age: 1 - 4 years

My Kenmore side-by-side stopped cooling and freezing. Fan in the freezer is working and pushing a little bit cold air. Icemaker does not work (nothing moves, fingers are not rotating). The label of the icemaker says 115 Volts. I disconnected the icemaker and measured the voltage coming from the fridge. It is much less then 115 volts (~30-40 volts). Sometimes I can hear a click and looks like some kinfd of a motor starts with a light noise. Then it stops. Any idea what part is faulty? Thanks.

You have a bad start relay on the compressor. Remove cover from compressor and pry out the square box. Test with ommeter, als if it rattles when shook it's bad. You can order this thru partselect.
