when the compressor shut off it sounds as if it is going to fall off the ref. can't seem to find any bushings or any think that is loose.

This is the compressor itself doing it, It only does it when it shuts off and it makes a thump or a doomp <--------- LOL ,

It may run for years and years like this and then again mabey next week or next month, but nobody can know for sure!!!, you can choose to keep it till it goes, replace the compressor, or replace the whole unit its all up to you!!!!!!
