My ice despenser is giving crusehd ice only. Does it have anything to do with brass handle that runs along side the left on the ice bucket?

There is a switch which operates the ice crusher. A part of this mechanism may be stuck. You may can clean it and oil it with cooking oil. Try working it back and forth to free it up. Watch the operation of it by opening the door and holding the door switch closed and operate the dispenser.
I couldn't match a diagram or parts list with the number supplied.
