To who it may concern.

I have and Amana Refreightor Model bx22rl.

I would like to know how to set the defroster timer switch, before I purchase a new one. This will tell me if the one is shot on my refreightor.

The timer are factory set.

What is the problem that you are having with your fridge.

Can you supply the rest of your model number.

It is on a tag in the fridge section with the serial number.

If the temperature is good in both the fridge and freezer section then the run time is likely fine.

The amount of time the fridge runs depends on the temperature of the room, the number of times the door is opened.
