Red face Jen-Air Refridgerator.
Brand: Jenn-Air
Model Number: jcd2389ges
Age: 1 - 4 years

Hi, I have a Jen-Air Refrigerator two doors with the ice- maker for about 4 years. My recent problem which I have noticed is: the water have spilled
out on the floor! And the refregerator compartement is no longer cool to keep our food safe! Freezer side and the Ice-maker is working fine. I have tried to adjust the thermostat in the refridgerator compartment, but nothing change!
Please give me some ideal how to fix this problem.
Thank you

It sound like you may have two problems.

The first problem being the water on the floor.

This could be caused by a blocked drain.

The defrost water should go to a pan under the fridge and evaporate.

Check to see if there is frozen water on the floor of the freezer side if there is remove the back panel inside the freezer and clean the drain tube using a long pipe cleaner.

The second problem sound like the damper control in the fridge section is not opening to allow cold air in the the fridge.

The control open the vent as the temperature in the fridge gets warmer to allow cold air in.

Here is a link to your fridge model jcd2389ges.
