I have a new whirlpool modular ice maker IM #S 106 626640, Model number?, that I want to install into a freezer that is not set up for an ice maker. I don't have a problem with the mechanics of installing it, would like to know how to wire it. I'm thinking a seperare cord for the ice maker and water valve. Four wires comming from unit, red, white, tan, & green/yellow. Would appreciate any info. Thanks.

If the fridge is equipped to take an ice make the kit will come with the wiring harness and the water valve.

The wiring should already be in the fridge.

Can you please supply your model number of your fridge.
