Jumping out the temperature control is not going to help you to determine your problem.

If you take the temperature control out of the system the compressor would never shut off.

Is it the fridge that is to warm?

Can you give a little more detail on what is going on?

Here is a link to your fridge model TBX22PCSNLWW.

Issue - both frig & freez warm. Fan blowing & compressor runs probably 90% in conditioned air. This frig has been giving problems overs several months. Few months back 1st not cold enough...checked to see if frozen coil - negative. Cleaned condensate drain pipe. Put it back together & it ran so cold in frig had to turn it to lower than suggested initial setting. Over past 2 weeks temp began to move around then has stayed too high in past week. Jumpered temp control thermo last night & temp has come down buts struggles(runs alot) to get there Runs 80% in a 74 day & 70 night house.
