Default Icemaker Water valve
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: TFX27RLB
Age: 5 - 10 years

Hi, my icemaker watervalve kept leaking so I replaced it but it still hasn't strarted making ice 5 hours later. I thought I had put the right terminals on the right posts but now I'm not sure. I have two white and orange wires paired, 1 set going to the blue valve and 1 set going to the red. I put the red wire on the left side of both valves but now I'm questioning if I had that right. I did make sure and not mix the two sets and not get them mixed so only getting the orange and white wires mixed could be the problem. Should I wait until morning and see if it starts working or will having it wired backwards burn the valves up?

Try manually filling ice tray and see if it will start the cycle again after it freezes and dumps the ice.
