Question Icemaker tube disconnected
Brand: Amana
Age: More than 10 years

The tube that delivers the water into the freezer compartment has become disconnected. The water pressure is enough to dislodge it when inserted back in. Can this be glued back in ? What kind of glue should be used? Secondly, does the tube need to be pushed all the way up into the recepticle (white plastic piece located at the top exterior of the refrigerator), or should there be some space left to allow proper water flow. Can't see the inside of the part so I don't know. Thanks for the help.

Can you please supply your model number?

The model number should be in the fridge section on a tag with the serial number.
